At the National Youth Conference 2025 (Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka), the Youth Climate Action Accelerator (YCAA) highlighted how young changemakers from vulnerable urban slums are building green, resilient, and inclusive futures. Implemented by SAJIDA Foundation and funded by Plan International Bangladesh, this initiative nurtures youth-driven climate solutions that matter.

From eco-friendly pens to upcycled home décor and recycled stationery, youth innovators are turning waste into opportunity.

YCAA empowers youth (18–24 years) with funding, capacity-building, and mentoring to transform ideas into impactful climate solutions across: Waste Management, Green Energy, WASH, and Recycling & Upcycling.
