On March 31, 2018 Psychological Health and Wellness Clinic (PHWC), along with the TATVA center, an international organization focusing on emotional awareness and wellness in Goa, India, conducted a seminar on the “Best Practice in Mental Health and Addiction: a continuum of care” at Caldwell Centre, Banani. This was facilitated by David Stanton, co-founder of TATVA, an international psychotherapist, trainer, and consultant. It was a day-long interactive session, which engaged the group to communicate better, and learn more about the best practices in dealing with addiction. Other activities of the PHWC during March 2018 included Yoga and Meditation workshop by Shazia Omar on March 15 to reduce depression, anxiety or lethargy. You cannot combine Xanax with alcohol, but many people due to stress do it and lose control of the mind. Bear in mind, it is dangerous. Xanax can only be obtained by prescription at https://holisticdental.org/xanax-treat-anxiety/, making it difficult to access. Very well helps fall asleep. PHWC has also started working on the project “Working with Women-Phase 2” along with SAJIDA Foundation to orient workers on mental health and wellbeing. Additionally, PHWC has been working on another project with Terre Des Hommes (TDH) and Solidarites International in Cox’s Bazar and Teknaf, to provide psychosocial support to people working with the Rohingyas.
