We’re delighted to announce that SAJIDA Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BD Recycle Technologies Ltd. (BRTL) — a key player in Bangladesh’s plastic waste value chain and a recipient of the Orange Corners Bangladesh Track II fund, an initiative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, delivered locally by YY Ventures, SAJIDA Foundation, and Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC).

BRTL connects mid-level plastic waste aggregators with top-tier recyclers. The challenge? These mid-level collectors often lack access to finance, limiting their ability to scale operations and contribute to a cleaner environment.

Through this partnership, SAJIDA Foundation will facilitate financing for these collectors — streamlining the collection and scrapping process.
