On May 28, SAJIDA Foundation’s Stop the Stigma initiative commemorated World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025 at the Upazila Parishad Hall Room in Bhola Sadar, in alignment with this year’s global theme: “Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld.”
The event brought together over 200 participants—including students, teachers, government officials, and NGO representatives—united in the mission to break the silence around menstruation and promote menstrual health and hygiene management.
The programme featured a series of interactive and educational segments, including reusable pad-making workshops, debates, dramas, quizzes, and cultural performances—inviting youth to engage, express, and champion change.
Distinguished guests such as District Education Officer Khandaker Fazle Gofran and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Arifuzzaman praised SAJIDA Foundation’s ongoing work in menstrual health management, urging even broader outreach to support girls in underserved areas.
The observance stood as a meaningful stride toward dismantling menstrual stigma and fostering a future where no girl is held back by her period.
