SAJIDA Foundation has partnered with PennyAppeal Bangladesh to introduce improved and integrated WASH facilities to support a community of 3,500 at Dhalua Union of Barguna District. The facilities include a community-managed piped water supply, renovated WASH facility in a community clinic, a dedicated modern WASH block for schoolgirls, and an integrated rainwater harvesting system. Mr. A.H.M Mustafa Kamal, Mayor, Dhalua Union Parishad; Mr. Abdullah Alhasan, Country Director, Penny Appeal Bangladesh; and Md. Shafiqul Islam, Sr. Coordinator-WASH, SAJIDA Foundation inaugurated the facilities.
