At “Crisis to Care: Dialogue & Action on Mental Health,” SAJIDA Foundation brought together experts, policymakers, and practitioners to highlight the urgent need to integrate mental health into Bangladesh’s emergency preparedness.

The programme featured presentations on SAJIDA’s emergency initiatives and mental health strategy, alongside two engaging panel discussions on equity, access, and barriers to services during crises. Participants also explored booths from SAJIDA’s social enterprises working on mental health, and experienced an inspiring art exhibition that reflected lived experiences and creative expressions around mental well-being.

The evening further offered space for healing and reflection through art therapy sessions, a guided mindfulness activity, and a soulful musical performance — reminding us that resilience means caring for both body and mind.

Through Crisis to Care, SAJIDA Foundation reaffirmed its mission to bridge the gap between crisis response and long-term mental health care, ensuring dignity, inclusion, and well-being for all.
