A ninefold increase in mastery and a sixfold increase in engagement — these are the initial results from Khan Academy Bangladesh’s pilot, spanning 31 schools and 5,342 students.
Today, SAJIDA Foundation convened the roundtable “From Classrooms to Careers: Strengthening Bangladesh’s Future,” bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and education experts to explore how Bangladesh can bridge the education-to-employment divide.
Ms. Zahida Fizza Kabir, CEO of SAJIDA Foundation, remarked that “Bangladesh’s youth can be the nation’s greatest asset if equipped with the right skills and mindsets for the future.”
Joining virtually, Sal Khan, Founder of Khan Academy, praised Khan Academy Bangladesh as “an inspiring example of how local partnerships and global collaboration can reimagine education systems for the future.”
Ms. Azwa Nayeem, CEO of Khan Academy Bangladesh, presented the results, underscoring the potential of technology-driven learning to transform classrooms into pathways for careers.
The discussion, chaired by Mr. Farooq Sobhan, Chairman of SAJIDA Foundation, reaffirmed a shared commitment to building an inclusive, technology-enabled education ecosystem that prepares every student to move confidently from classrooms to careers.
