On 12th October, PHWC’s lead psychiatrist, Dr Ashique Selim participated in a roundtable discussion organized by BRAC University promoting Mental Health of Young Adults: Role of Mental Health Professionals and Academic Institutions. The discussion included panellists’ thoughts, personal experiences and ideas of future collaboration. Dr Selim elaborated our need to approach the issue of youth mental health as an interagency collaboration and explained that we first need to collect a substantial amount of data about the youth of Bangladesh over a period of time which can only be done through interagency efforts.
